Visiting on a Sunday in Cotgrave?
If you're thinking of visiting our Sunday Service in Cotgrave, we have put together the following questions and answers so you know what to expect.
Where do you meet?
We meet at Candleby Lane School in the main hall. Whether you are driving in or walking in, one of our stewards will point you in to the side entrance where we gain access to the school.
What time does your Sunday Service start?
Where can I park?
Do you have Bibles available?
Do you have baby-changing facilities?
Do you have a creche?
Do you have disabled facilities?
Where do I sit?
Is there a dress-code?
Do you have kids work?
Yes. If you have children, then most weeks we are able to accommodate kids in school years 1-9). Please tell one of our stewards before the service starts if you want to make use of either of these groups and they will introduce you to the relevant teacher and get you to sign a parental consent form. Even better, if you know you are coming with a child/children it would be really helpful to know in advance, so getting in touch via our contact form would be great.
What is the typical format of your service?
After a brief welcome, we sing a few songs - usually modern worship songs that help people connect with God. Then we take an offering for our members to give (we don’t expect visitors to). We take communion together once a month.
Next up, could be any one of several things happening. It may be a ministry being showcased, people coming into membership, someone being honoured for the work they do or a time for members to share about an answer to prayer, a healing or a breakthrough.
Towards the end of the service someone preaches a message with the intention of speaking a word from God straight into people’s lives. This normally lasts around 30 minutes, makes use of multimedia and leaves you with something to apply in your life.

Can I arrange a meeting with one of the Ministers?
