Thinking of Visiting?

If you're thinking of visiting our Sunday Service, we have put together the following questions and answers so you know what to expect. If you have any questions that are not covered on this page, do feel free to get in touch and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where do you meet?

We currently meet on Wellin Lane in Edwalton, Notts where we hire the church building on a Sunday evening. Click here for map and directions.

What time does your Sunday Service start?

We meet at 5.30pm (and normally finishes by 7pm). You are invited to stay for ministry and prayer afterwards or just enjoy a chat over some refreshments!

Where can I park?

There is some parking round the back of the church building. Alternatively you can park on Wellin Lane. One of our car parking stewards will point you to the right place.

What happens when I arrive?

You will be greeted at the front door by a member of our welcome team, then directed to the Main Hall.

Do you have Bibles available?

Yes there are Bibles available if you don't have one, please ask a steward on your arrival if you would like to borrow one during the service. We will usually read from the NIV (New International Version). Most scriptures that are used during a sermon are also brought up on the big screen.

Do you have baby-changing facilities?

Yes, this is situated in the ladies toilets, please ask a steward for directions.

Do you have a creche?

Yes, this is currently unmanned, but there is a live video link to the service so you won't miss anything!

Do you have disabled facilities?

There is ramped access from the rear car park. We have a disabled toilet (on the right hand stretch of the corridor when you walk in the building). There is alos a 'loop' system in operation for the hard of hearing. (Please ask a steward to help you if you need assistance in any of these matters).

Where do I sit?

There are no set seating plans you can sit wherever you feel most comfortable.

Is there a dress-code?

No. Come as you feel comfortable - jeans and T-shirt wouldn't be out of place!

Do you have Sunday School classes and a creche?

Yes. If you have children, then most weeks we are able to accommodate the following age groups:

• Rock-a-Bye Babies (Creche for 0-3's) - currently unmanned, but there is a live video link to the service so you don't have to miss anything!
• Mini Rockers (kids work for 3-5's)
• Rock Stars (kids work and 5-11's)
• Rock Steady Crew (kids work for 11-16s)

Please tell one of our stewards before the service starts if you want to make use of the Sunday Schools and they will introduce you to the relevant teacher and show you where they will be. 

Do you take communion?

Normally once a month (mor eregularly in our small groups). You are very welcome to join us in this irrespective of whether you are a member or not.

Can I arrange a meeting with one of the Ministers?

Yes, if you can't get to see either of them during the service then contact us and we will set this up for you.
