Rock 'n' Rollers

The Rock’n’Rollers has been set up for the over 50’s age group. We are meeting once a month on the 3^rd or 4^th Sunday, initially at Doug and Joy’s house, at 7.30pm. We’re going to be very flexible in our activities, but these will be generally to get to know each other, and build each other up in our lives as Christians; to possibly reach out to our local neighbourhoods by having Bible Studies in local pubs; enjoying ‘our’ music; to worship and pray together; to discuss those issues which are particularly relevant to our age group; and to have fun.  We are expecting that at first only Rock Church regulars will meet, but who knows who God will bring into our group in the future. We believe that age is no barrier to God, and that there is no such thing as ‘retirement’ in the Kingdom of God. God is always looking for people who are willing to listen to and obey Him, regardless of age, background or experience.

The first group is on Sunday 24^th June; future dates will be announced in the info-at-the rock newsletter, in Rock News and on this website.  If you qualify age-wise, please contact Doug or Joy and let us know that you are coming.  We are looking forward to our first meeting.
